Moto trip Croatia - from Bucharest to Belgrade

The Moto Adventure starts on May 18, in Bucharest, at 7 am. We equipped ourselves, attached the top box, the side cases and the bag with the documents, fueled up and hit the road. We had a long journey to Belgrade of 600 km, so we had prepared some sandwiches and something sweet the night before so that we wouldn't have to stop at a restaurant on the way.

We left Romania at the Portile de Fier 1 border, and continued the shortest way to Belgrade. We made several stops along the way to loosen our bones, to eat and to drink a clean-up coffee.

We arrived in Belgrade at 7 o'clock in the evening, one hour behind the time zone, so we basically spent 11 hours on the road.

After we checked in, we went to have dinner at Smash Burgers where we ate, and I'm not exaggerating, one of the best burgers so far - easily in the top 3. To make it slide even better on the throat, we took and a craft beer with citrus fruits.

Serbia, not being in the EU, does not benefit from roaming offers for EU countries. In order to continue having internet, we purchased an eSIM through the Revolut application, which we used for navigation both on the motorcycle and through the city to reach the tourist attractions.

After eating, we went to a market to buy something for breakfast. We generally stay with AirBnb to have the opportunity to eat something light in the morning or evening at the accommodation and to have one meal a day at the restaurant, during the day when we are away.
