Tenerife - the most beautiful place on the island
Masca is a pitoresque hamlet situated between great high mountains with a wonderful flora like you cannot find on any other part of the island. What makes Masca so beautiful is the central position along a ridge pointing out to the sky, giving the place a feeling of Machu Pichu. On each side there are steep ravines covered in green, making the scenery more dramatic. The landscape is so imposing and not only in this place, but also the road until here (TF-436). All along the way I was covered in goosebumps and I felt so impressed that I was struggling to keep my tears of joy 😍. In my opinion is the most wonderful place on the island. We had lunch at Restaurante El Guanche - Alte Schule which serves only vegan food. Before it became a restaurant, it served as a local school.
